Matt & Jess

MONTAUK, NEW YORK wedding

Jess and Matt’s wedding in Montauk was a perfect blend of surf, fashion, and tradition, encapsulating their love for both each other and the creative energy of the town they hold dear. Montauk has always been their ultimate happy place and it was truly their ideal backdrop for a weekend filled with so many pinch me moments and unforgettable celebrations. The festivities kicked off with an intimate surf session up the coast and a colorful pool party at Hero Beach Club, where their guests begin to arrive for the weekend. The next day, their wedding day, began with a traditional ceremony at St. Therese of Lisieux, before an elegant reception at Hero. The celebration continued into the night with an unforgettable after-party at the iconic Memory Motel.

A true highlight of the weekend was Jess’s bridal wardrobe, which was a labor of love and creativity. She wore a stunning Leah De Gloria gown made from silk taffeta, paired with a custom three-tiered veil by Rime Arodaky. Mindful of sustainability, Jess transformed fabric from her dress alterations into a gorgeous bridal bouquet. For the welcome dinner at Crows Nest, she worked with Madrid designer Laura at Kettel Atelier to create a two-piece set made from vintage headstock lace. Jess completed her wedding weekend with two iconic looks: a self-designed dress and a floral-appliqué mini dress by Valentino, accessorized with a custom mini veil. The wedding was a chic, heartfelt celebration that beautifully captured the spirit of Montauk and the couple’s unique love story.
